Hi, I’m Julia Rachel though I go by Rachel. I’m a Florida-based photographer with a love for capturing life’s most meaningful moments in warm, rich, true-to-color tones. My journey with photography began in 2010, and in 2018, I turned my passion into a profession. I call Florida home, but my heart is always ready to travel wherever your story takes me.

Whether I’m behind the camera or exploring the mountains, I thrive on creating calm and genuine connections with people. My goal is to make you feel at ease and bring out your authentic self in every shot.

I'm a 32 year old Florida native & I share my life with my two fur babies, Dwight (my cat) and Winston (my mini dachshund), and my amazing husband, Tony. Some of my favorite things to do are hiking, thrifting, cooking/baking!
When I’m not behind the camera, you’ll find me thrifting with a coffee in hand or adding to our growing board game collection. I LOVE plants & flowers so you might find me obsessing over your bouquet. I’m a homebody at heart. I love my sleep but I also love connecting with people and could chat for hours.

I was born in Sarasota, Florida, and discovered my love for photography when I was 16. From the beginning, I knew it was something I wanted to pursue, and that passion has only grown over the years. Today, I photograph proposals, elopements, family sessions, and intimate weddings throughout Southwest Florida.

I’m drawn to the moments that happen naturally the excitement right before a proposal, the way a family falls into their own rhythm, the happy chaos of a wedding day, and all the little interactions in between. I want you to feel comfortable enough to forget about the camera and simply be present.

When I’m not behind the camera, you’ll probably find me thrifting, playing board games, or planning our next trip to the mountains. We make it a point to visit the Rockies or Smokies at least a couple times a year I’ll take cold weather over warm any day, and with my love for flowers, spring has always been one of my favorite seasons.

When you work with me, my goal is to be the calming, reassuring presence you can count on while still feeling like you’re hanging out with a friend. I want the experience to feel relaxed, easy, and genuinely fun from start to finish.
